MORE PRODUCT DETAILS Our famous poufs are made from genuine Moroccan leather, handmade by skilled artisans from Marrakech, and stitched by Berber women. The artisans cut the leather, embroider traditional Atlas Berber tribal designs, and hand stitch each piece of the pouf. On average, it takes three to five artisans a week to make a single pouf. As with all vintage handcrafted items, this pouf may show slight imperfections. Unlike industrial products that are symmetrical and identical, our poufs are hand-stitched. This only adds character and charm as each pouf is truly a one of a kind! Our artisans do not use FAUX leather. Faux leather is low quality and tends to have a persistent bad chemical smell.
